It's beastly cold outside and it's hard to believe that only couple weeks ago we had a baptism retreat! Check pictures here.
Pray for three people (Oleg, Marina and Vova) from our worship ministry as they are planning to go to the US to visit our sister churches there and to participate in couple of worship conferences. Our worship leader - Sergey - really wanted to join them, but unfortunately he was denied of visa. Moreover, Oleg has to wait for his visa until mid of October because of additional checkings. So everything goes not so easy and guys will still have to negotiate and plan a lot. We seek God's blessing for all of that.
So pastor Vlad is back to Nizhny. Summer is over. And the church is returning to the ordinary life. We resume English service (Sunday, 10 am) and central home meeting (Friday, 6 pm).
We urgently inform that church Baptism retreat will take place this coming Saturday. All are invited! We will meet at Moskovski train station, "under the chandelier" at 10.10 am. Please buy tickets to Rekshino station by yourself. Trains are departing at 10.40 and 11.00 am. Baptism officially will start at 12.00 pm.
On Wednesday August 12 - instead of Old Testament study - we invite you all to a special evening of praise and worship.
And because of summer vacations - we temporarily hold up - Friday Central Meeting and Tuesday Girl's Bible Study - until September.

We changed the beginning of Wednesday evening services - now it starts at 7 p.m. Also as the summer has come - we launched the sport meeting. Every Sunday at 5 p.m. you're welcomed at "Vodnik" stadium.
New issue of literary miscellany is available for downloading. This time it's dedicated to the works of British modern classic C.S. Lewis.
And a sad event occurred in our church. After a long disease Ruslana Kalinina went to the Lord. We ask you to pray for her husband Andrey, their little daughter Liza and Ruslana's parents. They do need such help. Thank you!
After a considerable period of silence we share latest news with you. New photo galleries are added about two recent church events - family conference and spring Calvary Chapel pastor conference that took place near Moscow. Plus we uploaded records of seminars taught at the family conference.
On May 14 pastor Vlad with his entire family went to the US for three months to visit our sister-churches there and individuals, whom we co-minister with. Plenty of important appointments are planned and we hope that the Lord will consolidate existed relationships and maybe will provide new ones. Meanwhile Vlad is gone Kostya Korenkov, Oleg Merkuriev and Roma Borisov will substitute him in teaching and ministering.
And Vlad is bringing to America a new promo video about our church - about ministries and ministers, who form its foundation. Check it out!
Many new things! Oleg Merkuriev and Kostya Korenkov got back from Eropean Calvary Chapel Conference, which took place in Hungary. It was a great time of edification and new acquaintances. Also guys made a presentation of our church at this conference. Check out pictures and slideshow about the trip.
Plus we reconstructed "Audio Sermons" section of our web-site. From now and on we'll be regularly putting and updating recent sermons, including sermons from Sunday English service! Also you can find links to different topical seminars taught in our church in the past.

This year Debbi Bryson held a women conference in Nizhny and it turns out that it's been especially for our church :O)) For two days and one night almost fifty women escaped from the city to countryside for a retreat and unique time with the Lord. And in the end of their short staying in Nizhny, Debbi and her American fellow travelers visited a local orphanage. Check the pictures!

And closing we ask you to pray for trip of Oleg and Kostya to Hungary - to attend a European conference of Calvary Chapel churches, which take place on March 16-20. The Lord already has provided everything necessary for the trip and we hope to see how He opens the doors for us to possible mutual ministry with churches of Europe.
