The main news from us is the return of pastor Vlad Oplev back home from the trip to the US. All these six weeks in November and December the Lord guided him, blessed and took care of him. There were a lot of good and important meetings with our brothers and sisters in America, - with those who know us already, as well as with those who are just starting to cooperate with us in God's field. Very soon a detailed report about Vlad's trip will be on our web-site.

As you know in the beginning of November our pastor Vlad Oplev went to the States for official journey almost until the end of December. He regularly e-mail us to notify that everything is going great - his schedule is really packed. Please continue to pray for that all.
Vlad took with him a video presentation, in a "thrilling" form narrating about our church. You can watch it as well (17Mb, Real Player format).
While Vlad is away - Ilya Tolstov teach on Sundays and Jeremy Burrier - on Wednesdays. Galya Pashkova, Kostya Korenkov and Oleg Merkuriev are responsible for church logistics. Everyone deals great with his part. :o)

Last week our beloved brother from HDC - Brad Orchard - paid us a visit. As you know ะยั missionary team are not coming this fall to Nizhny, they are going to visit Calvary Chapel of Cheboksary instead. However Brad made a special short trip to Nizhny before going to Cheboksary just to see us!
In the beginning of November our pastor Vlad Oplev will go to the US for official journey - to meet with ministers of those churches which support us and co-minister with us. Pray that all paper work concerning going abroad would pass smooth. And also pray for our church and key minister who will be without pastor for almost 5 weeks.
Everything is prepared in our church for the Family Conference.
On October 5-8 we invite everyone who is interested to attend family seminars taught by ministers of American Christian organization "Family Discipleship Ministries". Also on October 9 a methodic workshop will be held for pastors and leaders of family ministries from other churches.

And another good news - next Monday on October 3 a wedding ceremony of Andrey and Ruslana Kalinins will take place in our church. Praise God and lift Him in your prayers this new family starting its journey along the life. Certainly we'll put pictures of the wedding on our web-site.
The fall has begun so rapid for our church. We learnt that the cinema-hall, where all our services have been taking place, temporally wouldn't be able to accommodate us! However God is good - we have found another hall quite quickly. So here is an important announcement:
Until October, 17 church service are held the same time to the address: Zvezdinka,St. 5 in the hall of Central Children Library.
As the summer time ended ministers got back to their duties. On October, 4-9 we will have a family conference featuring American brothers from Family Discipleship Ministry. They will teach seminars about marriage issues and children training. Later on we will announce all details, but for the present, please, pray for logistic moments.
Family conference will have evangelic nature as well since it's planning to invite unbelieving families. This will substitute ordinary outreach, which has been planned for this fall. By different signs we understood the Lord was willing to cancel it. So rock concerts are delayed until April...
Usually summer time is a calm period for church, but we have something happening anyway. On August 5-7 American sisters paid us a visit to spend time with women from our church. Photo report about this visit will be prepared soon. But you can "see" right now pictures of youth hike, which took place on August 8-12 - click here!

On Saturday July 25 our church had baptism retreat. Article and pictures about this event are waiting you here.
New pages are added to our web-site - about recent April outreach and about staying of Brad Orchard in Nizhny for extra week in Nizhny to fellowship with church family. As usually - lot of pictures and video are waiting for you! Yesterday our pastor Vlad Oplev went to Moscow to teach two-week course in the Bible collage. Kostya Korenkov will teach on Sundays and Roma Borisov on Wednesdays while Vlad is absent. They will handle it...
The reason why there were no updates for so long time is the only one -week ago we had another big outreach mutually with High Desert Church. This event was really special: we covered downtown area of the city, made concerts in "famous" Nizhny night-club "Matrix", having three rock bands(!) plus female singer Hannah Ford. And behind all these things new for us we felt guidance and blessing of God that He poured out on us and our American brothers and sisters. Praise the Lord! As soon as possible a section about April outreach will be added to our church web-site. With photos and video clips as usually!
Also our beloved brother Brad Orchard stayed in Nizhny for an extra week after the outreach. During this time he had close fellowship with people from our church. And God glorified Himself through this as well! Most likely Brad himself will share soon his impressions about that "inreach". Keep up with updates!

And by the way, our 36 women returned back home well from the conference. :o) And they brought with them 7 American sisters for two-days visit, who are going to meet with church leaders wives and hold a women's seminar. We'll let you know at our web-site soon how all it was.
In several days 36(!) women from our church are going to all-Russia women conference of Calvary Chapel Churches, which is taking place on February 14-16. Pray for that 'crowd' lest they make the tip without any incidents!

Church key leaders started to discus April outreach, which is being organized mutually with High Desert Church (CA). Dates are already known - April 17-24. Please pray that the Lord would give us wisdom how it's better to fulfill His will.
Last week 13 brethren from our church went to Moscow all-Russia men's conference of Calvary Chapel Churches. It was wonderful time of God's worship, edifying in His Word and fellowship between brothers. Web-page about this event is being elaborated!

Winter holidays are over. Soon all the materials about holiday events will be put on our web-site.
Life is retrieving back. Last Sunday the second course of family seminars, held by Kostay and Marianna Korenkovs, has begun.
Also soon we're going to Moscow to all-Russian Calvary Chapel men's and women's conferences. They will take place on January 24-26 and February 14-16 relatively. Please pray for all organizational aspects.
